From the very beginning, THREAD has positioned itself in the software development market dedicated to medium / large industrial plants, controbuting to projects in the steel sector, water purification and paper industry. Between 2006 and 2007, the acquisition of software automation projects for high-profile companies such as Alstom and Veolia Italy represented a turning point and led to a significant growth.
In the years to follow, THREAD has widened the range of the sectors in which it operates; in particular, the relationship with companies operating in the chemical-explosive sector has allowed further technological evolutions in the design of automation software and simulation system solutions, both for testing of the sequences developed and for a personal safety training. In 2009 the development of an automation system for a chemical plant in India with the management of approximately 12,500 signals consolidated THREAD’s expertise on an international level.
